Stairs on the outside of houses

In this dream my building was being renovated, and one of the things that was being done was putting the stairs on the outside of the building in order to make the apartments bigger. So since I live on the top floor I had a long way both up an down those stairs whenever I was going out or in. And every time I had to climb those stairs I was terrified! One weird thing that I noticed one time I was going down those stairs was that my building had changed an looked sort of like a french palass!

My boss and healer offered to interpret this dream for me, and since I had no clue what it meant, I let her. She said that I am the building, the different floors are my chakras, and that I was moving around on the outside of the building means that I am sneaking around on the outside of my body.
I think she was right about this. I absolutely feel like I am sneaking about on the outside of myself to avoid contact with my feelings...
